Followed by official Chennai Super Kings Twitter Page, one of the star players from the "Anbu Den", Harbhajan Singh posted a tweet on the 380th year of the "Madras Day". He has put together a bunch of colloquial Tamil words and praised Chennai for its generous nature to embrace people from all walks of life including those coming from other states of India. Further has literally translated the popular meme template caption, "City is just a name. Chennai is an emotion"

According to the facts, August 22 is celebrated as Madras Day every year to commemorate the founding of Madras. As per TOI report, it was on August 22, 1639, that the deed for purchase of the village of Madraspatnam (Chennapatnam) was signed between the East India Company and Damarla Vekatadri Nayaka, the viceroy of the Vijayanagar Empire.
